Thank You For Attending GPUC 2021: Bringing GP Users Together

November 23, 2021

What a crazy, fun, successful week we had!

K2A Days and GPUC 2021 was our most exciting event yet! This years’ event looked a little different as a hybrid event; most attendees were virtual and we had a handful in-person attend at the Microsoft Campus. We have enjoyed the virutal aspect, brining in our highest number of attendees yet! All of our 125+ sessions were recorded and are able to view On-Demand on the GPUC Attendee Hub until February 15th, 2022.

K2A Days

To kick off K2A Days, our very own, president and owner, Deb Sletmoen, and VP, Cheryl Simmons, provided a warm welcome, along with Key2Act’s CEO, Rob Getz. With numerous sessions from Implementation Specialists and Key2Act, the first two days were considered a great success, featuring our 101 and beginner sessions.

GPUC

Heading into our GPUC event on Wednesday, Deb and Terry Heley from Microsoft discussed what’s new with Dynamics GP. This year, we featured new content and sessions, such as: ‘

We also had many fun, informative, and interactive events! Cavallo and KwikTag hosted a fun lunch on Monday, followed by a social hour with Greenshades at the Boiler Room in downtown Fargo. Tuesday’s lunch was presented by Journyx, followed by Happy Hour with PowerGP Online at Porter Creek restaurant in Fargo. Wednesday, Cavallo’s, Bob McAdam, and KwikTag’s Mary Miller filled us in by presenting ‘As a 21st Century GP user, should I Stay or Should I Go (to BC or Elsewhere)?’. Wednesday evening brought burgers and fun at the Fargo Brewing Company with AccountingWare. Lots of fun was had!

Thanks to our great GPUC event website, the event was easy to navigate and featured virtual sponsor booths. If you attended GPUC and haven’t taken the GPUC event survey, please take it here.

Thank you to everyone who attended and presented K2A Days and GPUC 2021! Of course, a big thank you to all our sponsors, as this event wouldn’t be possible without you!

We are excited to bring some new items to GPUC 2022! Stay in touch by signing up for our newsletter and be the first to know about all things GPUC 2022. Register before the end of 2021 and receiving 2021 pricing!

GPUC 2020: Bringing GP Users Together

December 1, 2020

What a fun and exciting week!

GPUC 2020 looked a little different than previous GPUC events, but it was the best one yet. We had over 200 attendees, beating our previous year of 150! Because our event was virtual, we were able to bring the event to more people from all over the US, not just the tri-state area. In addition, we were also able to record all of our sessions, bringing you new content and learning capabilities into 2021.

New for 2020, (besides being a virtual event), we had an entire two days dedicated specifically to Key2Act. Key2Act’s CEO, Rob Getz, helped kick off the event with our very own, president and owner, Deb Sletmoen. With numerous speakers from Implementation Specialists and Key2Act, the first two days were considered a great success.

Heading into our GPUC event on Wednesday, Deb and Terry Heley from Microsoft discussed what’s new with Dynamics GP. With over 100 sessions, we had a training for everyone. GPUC featured our new 101 series for the beginner user or someone looking to pick up a new skillset. Customer engagement was at an all time high with our customer panel sessions with topics around COVID, GP Admin, wsTOOLS and more. Kwiktag hosted a fun virtual lunch, gifting 4 attendees gift cards. Thursday ended with a anti-social social happy hour with DocuPhase, featuring ’80s movie trivia. Lots of fun was had!

Thanks to our great GPUC event website, the event was easy to navigate and featured virtual sponsor booths. If you attended GPUC and haven’t taken the GPUC event survey, please take it here.

If you registered for the event in advance, attendees were sent some awesome swag – from bags, to coffee tumblers and some fun items from our sponsors.

Thank you to everyone who attended GPUC this year and big thank you to all our sponsors, as this event wouldn’t be possible without them!

Do you have some follow up questions from GPUC 2020? Contact us now to learn more how IS can serve you.

We’re hoping GPUC 2021 takes place as our traditional GPUC at the Microsoft campus AND with a virtual option. More details will come as we get closer to the event, but for now, you can register here and receive 2020 pricing, plus buy 1, get 1 free. We can’t wait to see you at GPUC 2021!

GPUC 2020: Benefits for Attending

October 22, 2020

I think it is safe to say that 2020 has thrown everyone for a loop. As we come to the end of this year it is worth spending some time planning how to set ourselves up for the best possible 2021. One way to help your organization is to attend our annual GPUC training event as a company.

Company passes allow for an unlimited number of employees within an organization to attend our event, so more than ever GPUC can benefit your entire team.

With our event being held virtually this year the experience will be slightly different, but we will have some additional benefits from this change.

1. No Travel

One benefit of a virtual event is that there will be no need to travel to Fargo, ND in November. Reduction in travel costs could afford the opportunity for more employees to attend the event. An employee that cannot travel or that only needs to attend one or two sessions can now benefit from those training opportunities without having to justify travel costs.

2. Multiple Training Paths

With a variety of session types covering GP, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM), Power BI, SSRS and Excel there is a training session for you no matter what your role. Explore the GPUC schedule to review sessions and content on our website.

3. Recorded Sessions

Although we want you to attend the event live another benefit of a virtual event is that our sessions will be recorded and can be viewed by attendees later. Something that is not available in a live event is to attend multiple sessions that our occurring at the same time, but this year you can attend one session and watch the other session later.

4. Networking

My favorite part of every GPUC I have attended is how bringing a group of people together creates change by brainstorming and networking how to solve problems and answer questions. It is very easy with a virtual event to become disengaged or just save the recordings to watch later, but the true value of GPUC comes from all attendees participating. I highly encourage everyone to attend their session live and provide as much feedback as you can.

If there is one thing 2020 has brought to the forefront it is the need to be adaptable to any situation. Now more than ever we all have the chance to lead the way in creating new solutions and processes that can make business run smoother even in the most tumultuous times. I invite you to register for GPUC, take advantage of the company pass to give every employee the training they need and be an active participant helping lead the way into 2021.
